The Warrior Leader Copper Mask represents the proud and courageous warrior leader of the Incan empire, and his worship of the Gods and respect for their blessings. On both sides of the mask are fierce Jaguars, signifying his strength over all animals. The mask is given a galvanized bath - giving it a green glow - and is decorated and embossed with patterns that signify the Incan leader's devotion to the Gods. Ana Maria Enciso, the artisan, has been working metal for 25 years. She has sought to capture the traditional customs and fond, deep memories of the Andean people.
