While living in Sonoma County, CA Sheila became an important member of Artrails Open Studios and a guest artist in various schools teaching classes on watercolor collage. In 1996 Sheila was chosen as an artist-in-residence at the well-regarded Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma, California. Sheila Golden has combined her multiple skills and talents to translate her love of nature into painting and collage. Her artwork is strongly influenced by the masters; Matisse, Chagall and Kandinsky, along with the great Abstract Expressionists. Sheilas commercial resume to name a few includes background art for Sesame Street, KQED Television, Hallmark, Plus Mark (American Greetings) and Sunrise Cards.
