The Stereo1200 back panel inputs consist of two stereo RCA inputs for two different audio sources. The front panel inputs are exactly where they should be, on the front panel! This will allow you to easily connect and disconnect an MP3 player, SD Card, USB flash drive and two microphones. These sources are usually switched in and out on a daily basis depending on your needs. Thinking ahead, Technical Pro designed this unit with ease in mind. Do you really want to go to the back panel of a rack to connect an MP3 player? Neither do we! So what is so special about a USB flash drive / SD Card input capable of handling a 32GB card? Like most of us, you probably have an ever-growing library of mp3, wav,wma audio files on your computer or laptop that you want to listen to while sitting on the comfort of your couch. Have you ever tripped over a wire connected to your computer or laptop and then dive onto the floor to save it from crashing and breaking into pieces? We can all agree the fewer wires in our sound system the better. A USB flash drive / SD Card lets you carry around thousands of .mp3, .wav or .wma audio files in the palm of your hand. Simply connect the USB flash drive / SD Card to the computer and copy the files onto the USB flash drive / SD Card. Disconnect it from the computer and connect it to the Stereo1200 and the unit will automatically begin playing the files from the USB flash drive / SD Card. All while keeping your laptop perfectly safe. Wait just a second. I've got an iPod? and my friend has his iPod?, how am i supposed to connect both of these to the Stereo1200. Technical Pro's engineers have the solution for you. The USB flash drive input can also connect directly to any of your Apple? devices. Wow, that's great anything else that Technical Pro added? In fact there is. The USB & SD Card input have a recording feature allowing you to record from either the MP3 or RCA input directly onto the USB flash drive or SD Card. The unit will create high quality .WAV recording after following just a few very simple steps. Repeat and random playback on the USB & SD Card inputs give you the flexibility to control your audio without having to attending to the unit. The outputs consist of industry standard banana binding post that can connect two speakers, push button for surround speakers, and an RCA for a record line output. The Stereo1200 has a built in Dual 7 Band Equalizer. This is key if you want to properly adjust your frequencies for optimal performance in any room or venue! Also included are additional bass, treble and balance controls. Use the included remote control for ease of use. Set up your sound sources, walk away and control all your features from the remote. The two microphone inputs have a tone, echo and volume control letting you adjust the signal to your needs. The overall output has separate bass and treble controls allowing you to tweak your sound and find your sweet spot!
