What Is It?
The Accelerator Pulse is an extension of our best selling Accelerator series. The Pulse comes in a men's and women's model and includes most of the features of the existing Accelerator line with the addition of a heart rate monitor.
Who is it for?
The Accelerator Pulse is for anyone looking to monitor their heart rate and/or take their personal fitness and training to the next level. Experts agree that heart rate based training is critical to maximizing results. In general, the product will likely prove to be a bit much for the exercise novice, but will have great appeal for intermediate level exercisers because of its strong feature set and value.

The addition of a HRM to the Accelerator series is a natural extension of the existing product. Also, the demand for heart rate monitors continue to grow as the general public's knowledge of personal wellness increases. HRMs are not just for the hardcore fitness buff anymore.

How Does It Work?
The speed & distance mode uses the same accelerometer (marble in a bowl) technology that is used in the Accelerator Series watches to measure speed and distance functions. The heart rate monitor employs a conventional chest strap, using 5.3 Khz transmission frequency, to record a user's heart beats per minute.
