Reclaimed Olive Wood Salt Pot and Spoon - Kenya

We love these olive wood bowls that are carved from very old tree stumps on the Kahero Farm in Kenya's Rift Valley. The new owners of the farm had the stumps dug from the ground and cut into pieces. The herdsmen who work the farm carve the pieces into bowls with hand tools and sell them for extra income. The shape of each bowl is unique some are shallow with thick bases, some oblong with divets on the edges. All have the rich grain for which olive is known, and none of them are round. This salt pot is a small version of the Kahero Farm bowls, reflecting the natural shapes, divets, and shading. The diameter of the pot is approximately 2.5 to 3 inches. The small wood spoon is included. Each pot is unique, please allow for variances in shape and coloring.
