This product works as advertised, my tomatoes are doing very well. However, it is heavy when filled with dirt and watered. You need a sturdy hook and place to hang it.I would give it five stars if some system were in place to keep it from dripping so I could use it indoors.

I bought two Vertical Grow Bags. They arrived in just a couple of days. The are now planted with tomatoes and bell peppers. They are wonderful and easy to use.
I just ordered three more to try with cucumbers, zukes, and green beans. I recommend them to any one who wants and easy way to grow fresh vegetables.

Got really into the garden this year and decided to try this. So far, looks good. I started with a fairly well developed seedling -- it was already four or five inches high. My husband wondered how long it would take for the leaves to re-orient to face the sun, once the plant was upside down. It took less than 12 hours. The only thing I dont like is the foam disk with a slit -- you are supposed to slip the stem through the disk. I think the disk is supposed to help absorb excess water so it doesnt drip onto the plant. It doesnt. The slit has widened, and so a fair amount of water drips onto the tomato stem, which is starting to show a little wear as a result.
Some blossoms have appeared, so it is definitely planning to yield tomatoes.

It does a great job and my plantings are progressing very quickly. Its very simple and thats the genius of it. You could probably make one but I dont think it would be worth the trouble considering the purchase price. Im going to order more.

This vertical grow bag Planter works great for those of us who live in an apartment or with no place to plant a garden. It was fairly easy to plant and it now hangs under my porch. Make sure you plant a tomato that is good for container gardening and one that has good roots. I am anxious for the plants to blossom and produce fruit.

have used the vertical grow bag planter for 3 seasons now, and will never, ever plant my tomatoes in the ground again. This product is sturdy, simple to use, and produces beautiful fruit. Because the plants grow toward the sun and never touch the ground, the slugs and other critters cannot ruin or run off with your produce. As I have already stated, I have used the same bags for 3 seasons now, and have not had any problems at all. I highly recommend this product.

I was a bit dubious about the vertical grow bag, but its proven itself so far to be effective. The two tomato planters I have growing in the vertical grow bag are thriving -- theyre doing much better than the plants I have in the ground. Ill be anxious to see what kind of yield I get, but so far Im very satisfied with my purchase.

The vertical tomato planter grow bag is working very well for me compared to other upside down tomato grow bags. I have very limited ground space so I decided to try these for my tomatoes, cucumbers and squash. All of my plants are growing well and seem to accumulate less bugs by being off the ground. The only negative is trying to find a metal plant stand that will hold these as they are heavy once filled. I did not have anywhere sunny enough to hang by the ceiling or roof and so chose the plant hangars instead.

I received the vertical grow bag via the post master right on time. My husband thought I was silly for wasting our money. He has since bought four more! We are growing egg plant, tomatoes, peppers, (red and green) and zucchini.
We have a terrible gopher problem. The vertical grow bag is great because it hangs upside down away from the ground and the little suckers cant reach them....HaHa!
Unique and fun item!
Seller was great as well!
