Large Hose ClampFeatures and Benefits - Captive clamp design for Vehicle Class 6, 7 & 8 wire hose clamps. Fits over the Detroit Diesel 3 in. EGR Hose Clamp.
- Made from hardened steel. Maintains the clamp tension so the clamp will not spring.
- Ratchet end or thumb screw end - 1/4 in. ratchet adapter to the tool’s thumb screw end pinches the clamp tabs to release the EGR clamp
- Hand turning the thumb screw pinches the clamp tabs to release the EGR clamp’s hold on the hose
- Immediate access to the EGR clamp - saves technicians up to 20 minutes per repair
Wire Hose Clamp for heavy duty truck which is made from hardened steel, fits over the Detroit Diesel 3 in. EGR Hose Clamp and captures the clamps tabs. Attaching a 1/4 in. ratchet to the tool’s thumb screw end or hand turning the thumb screw pinches the clamp tabs to release the EGR clamp’s hold on the hose. Hose Clamp Tool maintains the clamp tension so the clamp will not spring allowing the hose to be easily removed and replaced versus cutting the clamp. Works on any Vehicle Class 6, 7 & 8 ring hose clamps.Additional Details
