Herb Pharm Peppermint Spirits Liquid Herbal Extract Description: Botanical Name: Mentha Piperita Traditional Use: Supports Healthy Function of the Digestive System. Plant Part Extracted: Dried Leaf and Essential Oil We prepare our Peppermint Spirits from the dried leaves and the aromatic essential oil of Mentha piperita plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure optimal potency, aroma and flavor we blend Peppermint leaf extract with Peppermint essential oil. The leaves are harvested when the plants are starting to flower, are carefully shade-dried, and then promptly extracted. The essential oil is steam-distilled (solvents are never used) from the fresh (undried) flowering tops. Our Peppermint is never fumigated or irradiated.
