This mask of the God, Ai Apaec, is crowned with a ritual headdress having golden rays of the sun and complimentary birds hanging on each side, confirming his divine calling. The metal tones evoke the deep, religious feelings of the ancient Incan peoples. The mask has a hook in back for hanging. Ana Maria Enciso, the artisan, has been working metal for 25 years.
