The Mediterranean city of Barcelona, diverse from its history of trade and political upheaval, is famous for the construction and removal of city walls beginning with its Roman rule. In fact, in the thirteenth century, a second wall was built to protect the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. Despite these physical barriers, Barcelona's flair has influenced many artisians. Our new collection is reminiscent of this early Roman time period, when marble carvings were highly sought after and traded.
